The Saudi labour ministry has said the number of unemployed in the kingdom now totals 448,000, whereas more than 8 million foreigners are working in private sector firms remitting some SR98bn to their countries annually, Arab News has reported. Saudi job seekers are steadily increasing even with bigger rates than what is declared by the Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI), said the deputy minister of labour, Mifarih Al-Huqbani.
