South Africa, Saudi Arabia invest $2.4bn for joint ventures

Saudi Arabia and South Africa have set up a $2.4bn holding company for farming, mining and petrochemical investments, as both countries seek to diversify their economies, Reuters has reported. The 50-50 joint venture, called Saudi Arabian South African Holding (SASAH), will help identify potential projects and partners in the top two economies in Africa and the Middle East, according to officials.
