Drake and Scull International (DSI) has announced three new contract wins - two in Oman and one in the UAE. The combined value of the projects amounts to Dhs100m, bringing the company's project win portfolio this year to over Dhs3bn, compared to Dhs2bn in 2009. The Dubai-based contractor says it has has won 26 major projects across the region since the start of 2010. DSI also said its backlog as of September 30, rose 66% to Dhs5.5bn, compared to Dhs3.3bn backlog recorded at the end of 2009.
