Qtel has launch an initiative aimed at improving the living conditions in underprivileged households in Qatar, Gulf Times has reported. The telecoms firm’s Refaq programme will bring together Qtel employees and volunteers to provide support for up to 50 households that have been identified through extensive field research. The project will involve assessment of homes that are in poor condition to provide major home improvements. Run-down houses will be transformed with the support of Qtel and a team of volunteers, in a campaign that will cover the entire country.
