Bahrain’s works ministry has said work on the first phase of the Dry Dock Highway extension project has been completed on time. The highway extension will provide additional entrances to Northern Muharraq’s villages; namely Qalali, Samaheej and Al Dair. The project included final asphalting works, signage, lighting, painting works and installing safety barriers, said roads projects and maintenance director, Raed Al Salah.
