Emirates Leisure Retail has signed a franchise agreement with UK-based casual restaurant chain, Giraffe to open its first international outlet in Dubai. "Our brand will shortly be launched internationally with a site in the UAE,” said Giraffe founder and managing director, Russel Joffe. The company, which currently operates 47 outlets across the UK, has reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation of £4m (Dhs23m) for the year to 25 March, with turnover up 18% from £34.4m to £40m.
