The fishermen’s association in Dubai has unveiled plans to launch a 24/7 fish delivery service in the emirate, Gulf News has reported. The service will offer customers a choice of cut, cleaned and packaged fish and the packaging and vehicles used will be custom-designed in order to maintain the temperature and freshness of the fish, said Khalid Selaiteen, chairman and board member of the association’s commercial projects committee. “To ensure the quality of our service we are going to employ computerised system where the customer’s location and information is saved in order to ensure the ease and speed of orders. Once delivered to customers’ houses the method of payment can vary from cash to Visa,” added Selaiteen.
