Residential Projects
In a signing ceremony, Majan Gulf Properties (MGP), the
first Omani Real Estate Company, tied up with International Gulf Development
and Contracting Company (IGDC) to bring to life the 1 million sq. meter ‘Sohar
Residential and Commercial Project’ in the Wilayat of Sohar. The signing
ceremony was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Rajiha Bint Abdul Ameer Bin
Ali, Minister of Tourism, in a press conference held at Shanghri La Barr Al
Jissah.
The Project includes the ‘Al Bustan’ Furnished Deluxe
Apartment Complex and the ‘Residential Villa Compounds’. These projects
designed and to be developed by Majan Gulf Properties, represent the first
major project of its kind in the Industrial Wilayat, Sohar and comprise
commercial, industrial and residential components which are located in Sohar.
Commenting on the strategic location of Sohar for their first
endeavor, Mr. Mohammad Al-Marzougi, Chief Executive Officer, Majan Gulf
Properties (MGP) said, “Wilayat Sohar occupies a strategic 45 km open sea gate
on the Gulf of Oman and was chosen by the government to be developed into a
main industrial bay materialized by the 200 square kilometers industrial city
unique by its diversified industry: refineries, petrochemicals, metal and
aluminum. Majan Gulf Properties is contributing to this Industrial Revolution,
led by the government, by creating residential and commercial agglomeration
fitting the needs of the industrial growth, with the aid of the local
authorities.”
Majan Gulf Properties (MGP) has joined their efforts with
different consultancy firms and contracting partners for the creation of the
current and the future Projects in Sohar as well as their upcoming projects in
Wilayat Khasab. Additionally, Majan Gulf Properties (MGP) has also developed
their own Property Management department to entertain the projects and to
ensure continuous satisfaction of the clients.
Majan Gulf Properties (MGP) has on the anvil a number of
other stunning projects including ‘The Pearl’ on the beach of Sohar, an
inspiring sea resort located in Mejis in Sohar; the 134,000 m2 Majan Logistic
City facing the reputed Sohar industrial zone, some elements of the project
being a commercial and head quarters bay, a light industry bay, labor camps and
catering facilities, etc; and the Khasab Family Resort at the Musandam
peninsula.
Mr. Marzougi further added that the Company aims to cater to
the demands of customers seeking high quality living standards and commercial
facilities, “In this regard, Majan Gulf Properties (MGP) aims to self-finance
most of its projects, especially the Sohar Residential and Commercial Project,
and provide our customers with optimized value investments.”
