Austrian home improvement retailer bauMax has opened its first store in Istanbul. The 15,000m² outlet will bring bauMax's Turkish portfolio to a total of six stores. BauMax currently operates 159 stores in nine countries; Turkey (6), Austria (66), the Czech Republic (24), Slovakia (15), Hungary (15), Slovenia (4), Croatia (7), Romania (15) and Bulgaria (7).
