The Russian Start Group has opened a new store in the Baltic city of St. Petersburg. With a sales area of 4,100m² and an assortment of 30,000 articles, the new store brings the company's total to twelve, including six stores in St. Petersburg under the Domovoy banner and six Start outlets (Samara, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk (2), Ufa, Voronezh). In 2011 the company achieved a turnover of €118m and plans a further 30 store openings across Russia in the coming three years.
