Crimes against female property agents have become more rampant of late, with the latest case involving a 34-year-old agent who was stripped naked and left in binds by her supposed clients.

According to New Straits Times, the victim from Kepong was contacted by a woman who had feigned interest in a Mont Kiara property viewing.

Upon meeting the 'client', who had brought along a man introduced as her husband, the victim was allegedly pulled by the man into one of the empty condo unit's rooms, in which the victim said he had stripped, tied her up and raped her.

The perpetrators had then fleed with a Toyota Vios, mobile phone, laptop and RM200 belonging to the agent, who also suffered bruises on her face and ears.

This incident last Thursday evening occured one day after the discovery of rape and murder victim, Chen Choi Mooi, in Batu Dam, Gombak.

According to autopsy results, Chen, also a property agent, died of strangulation and had bruises on her wrists, indicating a similar case of having been tied up.

Chen was cremated on Sunday; she is survived by her husband and two children aged 12 years and 10 years.

Sources disclosed to The Star that the 'prospective clients' who had pretended to be a married couple to the female agent in the Mont Kiara property viewing had been identified through a closed-circuit TV footage in the aforementioned condo.

Police have not overruled the likelihood of both cases being committed by the same perpetrators.
