The second Online Property Investors' Network (OPIN 2.0) was a great success, with over 600 participants - a 10-fold increase from the first edition.
Held at Menara PGRM in Kuala Lumpur on 29 July, the event was a follow-up of the inaugural OPIN event held earlier this year. Organised by propertyWTF.com.my, OPIN 2.0 was also held as part of the company's first anniversary.
OPIN 2.0 encourages online property forum's community to form a network in person rather than their usual online communication.
Co-Founder of propertyWTF, Mr. X, an Entrepreneur and Property Enthusiast, told PropertyGuru: "The idea of propertyWTF itself is unconventional, unique on its own, and now, on the back of the success in OPIN™, it's set to liberalise the way property seminars are being conducted. A breakthrough in cost, advocacy rate, engagement and participation level, but most interestingly, the continuity even after the seminar."
The event's line-up of speakers included Faizul Ridzuan,
Resident Columnist at propertyWTF, who discussed on residential
properties, Kam Wei Tsung on commercial properties, Albert Ko focusing
on Australia and Juanita Chin who focused on Penang.
The event saw many firsts, such as the unconventional approach of question and answer, wherein questions where directed to respective speakers using real-time online postings.
Another first was a special preview of a new property development in the Klang Valley. OPIN 2.0 also gave away a brand new Apple iPAD3 through a lucky-draw session.
