Prologis has renewed its lease agreement with Fiege, one of Europe’s leading logistics providers, for 19,135 sqm at Prologis Park Budapest-Harbor. As a result of this transaction, Fiege has consolidated its position at Prologis Park Budapest-Harbor under one roof.
“Due to the partnership approach that Fiege has adopted with Prologis across Central & Eastern Europe, we were able to relocate Fiege from a number of units and consolidate them under one roof thus being able to secure operational efficiencies for Fiege and allowing them to remain competitive with their customers in a challenging environment,” said László Kemenes, market officer, Hungary and Romania, Prologis. “By adopting such an approach even in the most challenging of markets we have managed to retain an occupancy of 85 percent against the Q1 market average of 79 percent.
Prologis Park Budapest-Harbor comprises eleven buildings totalling more than 132,000 sqm of distribution space. The park is located in District 22, on the southern border of Budapest, 12 kilometres south of the central business district between the motorways N6 and M6, and only 2.5 kilometres from the M0 ring road with direct access to the airport.
Other Prologis customers at the park include Anda Present, Budapest Papír, Hopi, Lekkerland, Ringier and Sanofi Aventis.
