York House is the latest phase for One Tower Bridge's launch
London is proving to be a popular investment destination among Singaporeans owing to the weakening British pound against the Singapore dollar.
With the euphoria surrounding the Olympics, yet another developer is offering Singapore investors an opportunity to invest in a luxury riverside development in the capital.
Berkeley Homes will be launching its latest phase for One Tower Bridge, called York House, at an exhibition on July 7 to 8 at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Located at the foot of London’s iconic Tower Bridge, this high-end development is designed by internationally respected Michael Squire & Partners.
York House features a collection of 12 luxury one, two and three-bedroom apartments located next to the development’s new five-star boutique hotel.
Scheduled to be completed in 2014, prices for homes in York House will start from £895,000 (US$1,398,022).
York House takes its inspiration from the trading and maritime heritage of the area.
All of the materials, the brickwork, ironwork and timber, were selected to create a link with the architecture of the neighbouring historic buildings in Shad Thames and along the east of Tower Bridge Road.
York House is situated in Zone 1 and is a short walk from London Bridge station on the Northern and Jubilee line with services to Canary Wharf in 7 minutes and Bond Street in 9 minutes.
It will also enjoy easy access to frequent rail services to Gatwick Airport.
