Analysts cite Malaysia’s close proximity to Singapore and those with Singapore PR enjoying an exemption of one ‘ABSD-free’ private property as the main reasons.

New draft made for Bangkok city plan causes concerns
The third most read story this week is a new draft city plan for Bangkok which is causing concerns among property developers. Designed by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to reduce the city’s population density in line with the “Green City” concept, the draft plan may result in further regulations for residential properties’ sizes and floor area ratios in relation to the width of the road.
